THE BACHELORETTE PARTY

Hi Dolls and Gents,

This was back in October but I had gotten too busy to post it. Now I am playing catch up trying to get all my 2012 posts in before 2013. So my mom, sister, and I attended a friends bachelorette party at a club here in Atlanta (Sandy Springs) called Taboo 2.

All Black Everything

waiting on mom

Me my mom and big sister

All ready to go
Now the colors for the party was black. We were told to wear all black so we followed the rules. I did not mind I have more black than a little bit in my closet.

For the sake of time I was forced to do a simple golden eye. I am new to make up so it takes me pretty much an hour to do a full face. I am sure with practice I will get faster. I know it was time for my box braids to come up but the wedding was that next weekend and if I took them out I would have NOTHING to do with my hair. Yes I am new to doing my own hair too. After a little styling gel, hair spray and a scarf for 30 minutes I was good to go lol

Dress: Dots
Shoes: Apple bottom from Dr Jays.com
Accessories: Charming Charlies

All in all the bachelorette party was cool, But everyone did Not follow the  all black everything rule. I had been to Taboo 2 in the past and will defiantly be visiting again.

When was the last Bachelorette/ Bachelor party you attended?

Hi Dolls and Dudes,

If you are from Atlanta, then you already know that Coca cola is a very important part of Georgia history.
We hold the secret formula right here in the city. Nobody else have that. I am a die hard coca cola drinker. So working here as well as visiting here is always fun fun fun.

There is some history though. There is four D theater, taste over 60 different cokes from around the world, just visit the World of Coca cola lol trust me you will have fun and it is affordable. My mother is a die hard pepsi drinker and she had a good time here!

Hi Glamour Dolls and Gents,
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. I know I did. I ate, ate and ate some more I feel like I gained 10 pounds so I am looking forward to a new way of eating....after the holidays lol. I am one of those people who will do anything to work out except eat right and exercise lol I know, what your are thinking I will get it together one day. As for today check out my nails of the week:

I didn't want to go with the typical golds and browns and fall color manicure this week I opted for something a little more colorful. I hope you like them

DOWNTOWN ATLANTA

So after work my coworkers (the few I actually like jk) sometimes go to a lounge in downtown Atlanta to wind down after work. We recap on the work week then, have a few drinks, eat a little food and vibe out to the music.

Now I know a lot of people who do not think it is not a good idea, or just do not hang out with coworkers.
I do not have a problem with it, I just keep the conversation general, never telling nothing about my personal life. I am all about having fun so. So for the most part if is fun then I am down lol.

Do you hang out with coworkers? Why or why not?

ELECTION DAY

I know I am a little late but I still wanted to post this to congratulate President Barack Obama on his second term in the White House. I debated on posting this because politics are so controversial. I didn't want to offend anybody but it is what it is. I did vote and lets just say I am ecstatic with the outcome. I did not do too much since it was a Tuesday but, Here is what I did do.

In my Car after I voted

I like my sticker lol

The church around the corner from my house where I attend and voted at

I went to Buffalo Wild Wings with my good friend after I voted

The Strawberry daiquiri I drank ummm mmmm lol

My Good friend Bitsy and my son At BWW

After dinner we had cake at the election party

Election Decorations, I was excited

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA CONGRATULATIONS
I wish I could have taken a picture of me voting but they were enforcing the no cell phone in the voting area. So my baby and I didn't get to take pictures in the church. That is ok though I still did my vote and happy with the election outcome.

How did you celebrate Election Day?

HAIRSTYLE OF THE WEEK: DORA THE EXPLORER

Ok so I must confess these pictures are like FIVE years old but I have really been considering getting this Hair cut again. Do you all remember when Keisha Cole first came out? Ok so I like copied her two tone hair styles dying my own natural hair. Lets just say it was a Epic Fail! It was so pretty for about six weeks then the part that I dyed Blonde started shedding really badly so I had to chop it all off. Well not all of it just to this length but my hair was really long so this is the shortest I ever cut my real hair. At first I hated it because it was too short for my liking, but after the compliments started rolling in I started liking it and it started growing on me. I have this really critical guy friend who started calling it the Dora the Explorer hair cut hints the name of the post, then pretty much everybody started calling me dora. It was short but sassy and best of all it was easy to maintain also even though my hair was relaxed it looked really really shiny and healthy.

What do you think of my hair cut?
Have you ever had to cut your hair due to a dye job gone bad?

NAILS OF THE WEEK: GOLD LEOPARD PRINT

I wish I would have done a step by step tutorial on these nails but, I didn't think that they were going to turn out well because they were cheap. These are actually those nail stickers. I first seen this print in Sephora by opi but I was skeptical that the stickers would work out they were like $12.00 so I did not buy them. Then I was in dots and I was using my coupon but I needed like a $4.00 item to qualify me so I grabbed a nail polish and these. These were only $3.80.

If you do try these be sure to use a thick clear top coat over the sticker when you are done. The directions do not say to do so but they will lift and peel if you do not.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Hi darlings, I just wanted to take the moment to wish everybody a fun and safe Halloween. It's 7:30pm and I do not have Halloween plans. It is cold here in Atlanta and Halloween fell on such a weird day. So I think I am just going to stay home with the baby and pass out candy to the babies in my subdivision.
